Dr. and Mrs. John Tillman Hodges are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Margaret Spencer, to Dr. Jon Harrison Josey, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jon René Josey of Florence, South Carolina.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. C.E. Rogers and Mrs. Fred W. Hodges Jr., the late C.E. Rogers, the late Roy F. Powell and the late Fred W. Hodges Jr., all of Statesboro. Margaret is a 2013 graduate of Bulloch Academy. She then attended the University of Georgia to complete pre-requisite courses and graduated from the Medical University of South Carolina College of Pharmacy in 2020. She is a member of Delta Zeta Sorority and was inducted to the Rho Chi Society at MUSC. After completing a post-graduate year one residency, she is working in inpatient pharmacy in Charleston, South Carolina.
Harrison is the grandson of Dr. and Mrs. James Larry Josey, the late Dr. and Mrs. Samuel Marsh Willis and the late Sarah Kate Josey, all of Clemson, South Carolina. The groom-elect is a 2009 graduate of Wilson High School. He graduated magna cum laude from Clemson University in 2013 with a degree in biological sciences. He is a 2017 graduate of the Medical University of South Carolina, James B. Edward College of Dental Medicine. He is presently practicing dentistry in St. Matthews, South Carolina.
The wedding is planned for December 18 at 6:30 p.m. at Statesboro First United Methodist Church.
