Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Inman Hodges Jr. of Savannah are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Klara Strieter, to Tillman Weeks Geriner, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Clay Geriner of Savannah.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Lloyd Inman Hodges and the late Lloyd Inman Hodges Sr. of Statesboro and Mr. and Mrs. John Richard Strieter of Rock Island, Illinois. Klara is a 2016 graduate of Savannah Arts Academy. She then graduated magna cum laude from Georgia Southern University, Armstrong campus, with a Bachelor of Science in nursing. She is presently employed in the cardiac unit at Memorial Hospital, Savannah.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Mrs. William Henges Geriner and the late William Henges Geriner of Savannah and Mr. and Mrs. James Mathew Weeks of Savannah. Tillman is a 2016 graduate of Benedictine Military School. He then graduated from Georgia Southern University with a degree in business administration. He is employed by Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors and is the sixth generation to work there. He is currently attending Ogeechee Technical College for an associate's degree in mortuary sciences.
The wedding is planned for April 9 at 5 p.m. at Wesley Monumental United Methodist Church in Savannah.
