Mr. and Mrs. Robert Counts of Statesboro announce the engagement of their daughter, Micah Katrina of Birmingham, Alabama, to David Eric Donahue Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. David Donahue.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Rev. and Mrs. L.H. Bullock and the late Mr. and Mrs. E.H. Counts. A graduate of Bulloch Academy, Micah attended the University of Georgia and Samford University. She received her Master of Nursing from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She is employed as a nurse practitioner at Birmingham Heart Clinic.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Stewart Campbell and Beverly Brooks and the late Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Donahue. Eric attended the University of Memphis and is employed as a nurse at St. Vincent's Hospital in Birmingham.

The couple is planning to wed on Nov. 20 at 4 p.m. in Birmingham.
