Dr. and Mrs. Charles Richard Webb of Statesboro announce the engagement of their daughter, Lauren Ann Webb, to Robert Cater Massee III, son of Mr. and Mrs. Marion Fuller of Perry and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Griffith of Statesboro.
       The wedding is planned for Saturday, February 13, 2010, at 6:00 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church in Statesboro.
       The bride-elect is also the daughter of the late Sherry Smart Webb. She is the granddaughter of the late Dr. and Mrs. Edward Henry Smart Jr. of Statesboro and Mr. and Mrs. R.C. Webb of Statesboro. A 1996 honor graduate of Statesboro High School, she graduated from Georgia Southern University in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and in 2006 with a Master of Education degree in School Counseling. She is employed by the Bulloch County Board of Education in Statesboro as an elementary and middle school counselor.
       The groom-elect is also the son of the late Robert Cater Massee Jr. and is the grandson of the late Mr. Robert Cater Massee and Mrs. Lenora Massee of Hawkinsville and the late Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Yawn of Haynesville. A 1997 graduate of Effingham County High School, he graduated from Georgia Southern University in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science degree in General Studies and in 2005 with a Master of Education degree in School Counseling. He is employed by the Bulloch County Board of Education as a health and physical education teacher and coach.
