Mr. and Mr. Willis Russell Jones

   Meredith Leigh Mines and Willis Russell Jones exchanged wedding vows during a 6 p.m. ceremony held on September 19, 2009, at the Fountainview Mansion in Auburn, Ala. Minister Col. Kenneth N. Brown of Dickson, Tenn., assisted by Mr. William R. Parsons of LaGrange, performed the double-ring ceremony.
       Music was provided by Gentry Baird, Rachel Logan, Tessa Matthews, cellist; and Sam Lee, violinist. Program attendants were Madeline Sabens of LaGrange, Sydney Schulze of Charlotte, N.C., and Whitney Wallace of LaGrange.
       The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joey Mines of LaGrange, Ga.
       The groom is the son of Mr. an d Mrs. Daniel F. Jones of Statesboro.
       Given in marriage by her father, Mr. Joey Mines, the bride wore a hand-beaded, champagne lace strapless gown with a delicate scalloped neckline, fit and flare silhouette and chapel-length train. The hemline and train were trimmed in the matching scalloped lace. The ivory lace overlay was adorned with gold thread embroidery, clear crystals, tiny pearls and silver bugle beads. Her champagne veil was edged with a crystal, floral design to compliment the gown.
       The bridal bouquet was made of ivory tea roses accented with small white silk roses taken from her mother's wedding bouquet. The roses were wrapped in ivory satin ribbon embellished with a gold monogrammed.
       Leah Miller of Columbus, Ga., and Brittany Tanner of LaGrange served as matrons of honor. Bridesmaids were Brittany Baird and Melinda Golden, both of LaGrange; Bonnie Jones of Nashville, Tenn., sister of the groom; Hailey Jones of Macon, Ga., sister-in-law of the groom; Robin Kinard of Batesburg, S.C., cousin of the bride; Brooke Malcom of Birmingham, Ala., Emily Matheny of LaGrange, Dr. Lacy Tumambing of Columbia, S.C., and Megan Wheeler of Columbus, Ga.
Flower girls were Emma Harman and Isabel Matheny, both of LaGrange.
       Mr. Daniel F. Jones of Statesboro served as his son's best man. Groomsmen were Christopher Collins of Baxley, Ga., Brian Gentry of Washington, D.C., Dr. Adam Jones of Macon, brother of the groom; David Jones of Athens, Ga., brother of the groom; Joshua Kaiser of Statesboro, William Mines of Auburn, Ala., brother of the bride; Nicholas Sherrod of Statesboro, Steven Tanner of LaGrange and Robert Tate of Atlanta.
       The reception immediately followed the ceremony at Fountainview Mansion. Alexis Holmes and Landen Sheets, both of LaGrange, kept the bride's book.
       The couple honeymooned in St. Lucia and now resides in Statesboro.
