Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Bowen of Glennville announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Brooke Bowen, to Benjamin Daniel Anderson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Danny Anderson of Sylvania. Brooke is also the daughter of the late Amy Adamson Bowen of Glennville.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bob Bowen, the late Mrs. Winnie Adamson and the late Mr. George D. Adamson, all of Glennville, and Mrs. Lawatha Malmberg of Claxton. Miss Bowen is a 1997 graduate of Pinewood Christian Academy and graduated from Ogeechee Technical College with Associate degrees in Accounting and Marketing. Brooke is the owner of Photography By Brooke in Statesboro.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Mrs. Margaret Anderson and the late Mr. W.P. Anderson Jr. of Statesboro and the late Mr. and Mrs. Marion F. Freeman Jr. of Sylvania. Mr. Anderson is a 1996 graduate of Screven County High School and is employed by Georgia Forestry Commission in Screven County and is also the co-owner of Anderson Brothers Farm in Sylvania.
A private ceremony is planned for April 19, 2008, in Savannah.
