This year's Peanut Festival in Brooklet celebrated food, fun and all things agricultural. The year's event, the 29th, was held Sept. 15.
The festival welcomed several new vendors this year, much to the huge crowd's delight. In addition to all the food vendors, there were also new vendors selling rocks and gems, handmade jewelry, holiday decorations, art, honey and leather work.
The event also showcased live entertainment from local artists, including Juliet Muldrew, Danny Carter, Alaina Bond and Joel Baker, as well as Force One Karate, the King's Highway Band, the Heartland Express Cloggers and the Southeast Bulloch High School Band. Additionally, Brotherhood Community Chorus, Brickhouse Live, Elvis impersonator Glen Walden and Mark and Scott Cartwright performed.
