Johnna Davis Martin and Nicholas Trawick Sweat

Mr. and Mrs. John H. Martin III and Mr. and Mrs. John Daniel Greenway of Brooklet announce the engagement of their daughter, Johnna Davis Martin of Brooklet, to Nicholas Trawick Sweat of Wrightsville, Georgia, son of Mr. and Mrs. Donnie Bruce Sweat.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Alice Davis and the late Scooth Davis of Louisville and Opal Chalker of Swainsboro and the late John H. Martin II of Wadley. A 2007 graduate of Southeast Bulloch High school, Johnna is a 2013 graduate of Valdosta State University, with a Master of Science in communication sciences and disorders. She was a member of the Kappa Beta chapter of Phi Mu. She is a speech language pathologist employed by Integra Rehabilitation and Candler County Hospital.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Wain W. Sweat and the late Jean Sweat of Wrightsville and Tommy Brown and Jean Brown and is the great-grandson of Trudy Trawick. Nicholas is a 2010 graduate of Brentwood School and a 2015 graduate of Georgia Southern University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in middle grades education. He teaches middle school math at Brentwood School in Sandersville.

The couple is planning to wed on March 23, 2019, at 6 p.m. at Brooklet United Methodist Church.
