With Tormenta FC's inaugural season quickly approaching, the team has scheduled open tryouts for Saturday.
    Tryouts will take place at the soccer complex at The Clubhouse located at 2704 Old Register Road, at 1 p.m. The franchise is in search of talented, dedicated high level athletes seeking to be a part of the Premier Development team.
    “The spirit of the Tormenta FC is contagious,” stated team general manager Ben Freakley. "Since announcing an open tryout for Tormenta FC, we have had players from inside and outside the United States inquiring about our team. From Sweden to Statesboro to Colombia, players are asking how they can become part of Tormenta FC."
    “The format for the tryout will be 11 vs 11 games. This gives players attending maximum opportunities to show their strengths,” said Darin Van Tassell, President and team owner.
    Fans are invited to attend to see what is in store for the 2016 season. Spectators will witness history being made for Tormenta FC and minor league soccer in the southeast. The box office located at Guest Services will be open during the tryouts. To allow fans to get team information, purchase season tickets, TFC gear, and other special offers during the event.
