BROOKLET — The Southeast Bulloch Yellow Jackets entered the 2013 season fully intending to compete for a spot in the state playoffs. Tonight’s game against Telfair County in McRae won’t have any bearing on that goal, but it will serve as a measuring stick for a team that continues to take steps forward. Last season, the Jackets made the jump up to Class AAA, and — while they fell short of the postseason — continued to build momentum and tack more wins onto their final record.
