Screven girls beat Swainsboro at tennis

SYLVANIA — Screven County High School's girls tennis team beat Swainsboro, 4-1, on Thursday.
    Screven's Sophia Evans won, 6-3, 3-6, 6-2, in No. 2 singles; Mallorie Boswell won, 6-2, 6-0, in No. 3 singles; Haley Mock and Haley Jackson won, 6-4, 6-3, in No. 1 doubles; Pamela Wooten and Kari Lane won, 6-0, 6-0, in No. 2 doubles.
    Screven (3-0) will play at Savannah Christian on Feb. 29.
