Statesboro’s Adam Purvis, center, is joined by his family as he signs a National Letter of Intent to play soccer at the College of Charleston this fall.
Last season, Purvis was a pivotal member of the Blue Devils’ success. He was also one of the most versatile players on the field, providing lockdown defense or being called on to set up the offense from the midfield.
“Adam’s always been one of those players that just gets it,” said SHS coach Chad Prosser. “He always takes every opportunity – either in practice or a game – to make himself a better player.”
