PORTAL — Led by forward Trent Thomas, the Portal Panthers dominated defending the Class A Public state champion Wilkinson County from the opening tip to the final buzzer, winning 66-48 at home on Saturday. Stacey Morgan added 20 points for Portal (16-3). Thomas did most of the early damage, scoring 21 of Portal's first 39 points.
