DUBLIN — Senior Ashley Burke and freshman Mattie Wynn Hendrix finished first and second respectively to propel the Bulloch Academy girls’ cross country team to the GISA Region 2-AAA championship Monday. Burke clocked a 22:48 for the victory and Hendrix crossed the line eight seconds later in the meet that was held at Trinity Christian School. Other members of the winning squad were senior Heather Jacobs (10th, 25:11), freshman Kyra Samuels (11th, 25:32) and freshman grader Koree Jacobs (14th, 26:11).
