AMERICUS — The Bulloch Academy Gators dropped the first of a three game series 2-1 at Southland Academy in the opening round of the GISA Class AAA state baseball playoffs on Friday. Joshua Bishop went the distance on the mound, and Lee Waters led the Gators with a pair of hits.
