Portal’s Chase Sheffield had himself a day at the Southeast Bulloch track meet Tuesday afternoon in Brooklet. Squaring off against four other schools, the Panthers’ star sprinter took the top spot in both the 100 and 200 meter dashes and was the top individual scorer for Portal, which placed third as a team in the meet. Sheffield’s time of 10.96 seconds in the 100 meter dash not only earned first place, but set a new Portal record in the event.
