Daniel Griffin had a hand in a pair of huge wins for Screven County on the baseball diamond this week. Tuesday, Griffin pitched the final five innings of a nine-inning, 14-13 win over Swainsboro that featured three Gamecock comebacks. Trailing by two in the bottom of the ninth, Griffin came through at the plate, legging out a single that would begin Screven’s game-winning rally.
