GSU tight ends adjust to new offense
GSU New
Delete When Nardo Govan trots out into Georgia Southern’s offensive huddle, a casual observer might have trouble guessing at which position he’ll line up. Govan’s 6-foot-2, 250-pound frame disguises his deceptive speed, so it would be equally surprising to see him line up at wide receiver or running back as it would to see him put a hand in the dirt as an offensive tackle. Fortunately for Govan, playing tight end in first-year GSU head coach Willie Fritz’s offense requires a player to be able to do all three.
