The Bulloch Academy Gator softball team had won a best of three series two weeks ago in which they had to play three games in one day. The Gators managed to overcome over 90 degree heat to win that series, but were unable to overcome a chilly evening in Macon, and the Westfield Hornets, who took two of three against the Gators in capturing the GISA Class 3-A state title.
