Georgia Southern men’s basketball star Eric Ferguson’s suspension was lifted Monday, effective immediately, according to GSU athletic director Tom Kleinlein. Ferguson, a 6-foot-8 senior who earned All-Southern Conference honors each year he played in the league, was suspended indefinitely following an offseason arrest with former teammate Brian Holmes. He was cleared by the school of all “major charges” and will play in Monday’s game at South Florida.
