Mr. Clinton John “Clint” Tinsley
Mr. Clinton John “Clint” Tinsley, age 47, died on Monday, February 28th, 2022, at Navicent Health Medical Center in Macon, Ga.
    Clint was born in Renton, Wash., on May 2nd, 1974, to Mr. Rick Baker and Mrs. Jan Simons.
    Growing up, he spent time in Washington, Alaska and in South Carolina before moving to Georgia.
    He graduated from high school in Anderson, S.C., and went on to serve three years in the United States Navy.
    Clint worked as a truck driver for many years, most recently with TCW.
    When he wasn’t working, he enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson, working on his coin collection and spending time with his family.
    He was preceded in death by his mother.
    Clint is survived by his wife of 12 years, Julie Black Tinsley; his two daughters, Ella Grace Tinsley and Ava Hope Tinsley; his father, Rick Baker; two brothers, Brian Baker and Adam Baker; as well as several nieces and nephews.
    The family will receive visitors on Friday from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home in Statesboro.
    The funeral will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be at Brooklet City Cemetery.
    Pallbearers will be Robert Black, Hughie Tankersley, Larry Hurt, Blake Allen, Tate Robinson and Trent Mays.
