STATESBORO, Ga. -- Mr. Albert Hills, age 66, passed into rest Thursday, August 5, 2021, at the East Georgia Regional Medical Center.
    The native of the Nevils Community and Evans County was the son of the late Willie Lee Hills Sr. and the late Willie Mae Simmons Hills.
    Mr. Hills received his formal education in the Bulloch County School System and attended the Mt. Olive Baptist Church near Claxton, Georgia. He loved farming, fishing and hunting. He retired from the trucking industry.
    He leaves to cherish his memory: his wife, Judy Menchan Hills; three stepsons, Kevin (Alexis) Cook, Korey (Shameka) Cook and Kadrian (Tynaya) Cook; brothers, Archie Hills, Arthur L. Hills, both of Ft. Pierce, Fla.; Lenoy Hills, Jeffrey Hills and Joseph Hills, Statesboro, Ga.; sisters, Ellean Stanley, Claxton, Ga.; Brunetta (Wayne) Oglesby, Register, Ga.; Annie Hills, Alma Hills and Leoma Hills, all of Statesboro, Ga.; 12 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, a host of other relatives and friends.
    A walk-through viewing for Mr. Hills will be held Friday, August 20, 2021, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Hill’s Mortuary, Inc.
    A graveside funeral service and burial will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, August 21, 2021, at the Eastside Cemetery, Northside Drive, Statesboro, GA with the Rev. Frankie L. Owens officiating.
    Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, social-distancing will be enforced at the funeral home and graveside services. We ask that you adhere to all CDC guidelines.
    Final rites have been entrusted to Hill's Mortuary, Inc.
