STATESBORO, Ga. -- Ms. Patricia Ann Millen, age 56, passed into rest Tuesday, July 17, 2018, at the Landmark Hospital, Savannah, Ga., after an extended illness. She was born in Candler County, Georgia, to the late Willie Foy Millen and the late Valarie Pinkson Millen.
She attended the public schools of Statesboro, Georgia, and was a graduate of the Ceta Vocational Skills School, Claxton, Georgia, where she obtained her degree as a licensed practical nurse in 1981. Ms. Millen was a former employee of Ogeechee Home Health and the Pleasant View Nursing Home.
She leaves to cherish her memories: her children, Tyrone (Kristi) Heard Jr., Toccoa, Ga.; Demetrius (Chi Quita) Millen, Augusta, Ga.; Leiya Millen and Atika (Jarrod) Reid, both of Savannah, Ga.; sisters, Cynthia Golden, Augusta, Ga.; and Opradella “Bonnie” Brown, Hinesville, Ga.; her stepmother, Grace Millen, Statesboro, Ga.; one aunt, Marie (Willie) Cone, Metter, Ga.; two uncles, Harvey (Vivian) Pinkson and Wilburt (Chauncey) Pinkson, both of Decatur, Ga.; a special friend, Norris Murray, Statesboro, Ga.; nine grandchildren, a host of other relatives and friends.
A celebration of life service for Ms. Millen will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, July 21, 2018, in the Ben Samuel Hill Memorial Chapel of Hill’s Mortuary, Inc. with Elder Donald Chavers Jr. officiating.
Final rites have been entrusted to Hill’s Mortuary, Inc.
