Mrs. Sharon Anderson Knight, age 57, died peacefully at her home under the care of Ogeechee Area Hospice on October, 3 2018.
    She was a loving wife, mother and sister born in Evans County, Ga., grew up in Tattnall County, Ga., and resided in Statesboro, Ga., with her husband of 32 years, Bobby Knight.
    She graduated from Pinewood Christian Academy and Swainsboro Technical College. She worked in the Bulloch County School System for several years and also as a caregiver.
    She was preceded in death by her father, Bennett Anderson; mother, Margaret Anderson Powell; and her stepfather, Jan Powell.
    She is survived by her husband, Bobby Knight of Statesboro, Ga.; daughter and son-in-law, Katie and Ramsey Waters of Jacksonville, Fla.; brothers, Larry and Glenda Anderson of Dalton, Ga.; Johnny and Phyllis Anderson of Claxton, Ga.; Eddie and Phyllis Anderson of Reidsville, Ga.; sisters, Lynda and Larry Kingery of Reidsville, Ga.; Shirley and the late Bobby Smiley of Waynesboro, Ga.; Becky and Ronnie Dasher of Manassas, Ga.; brother-in-law, A.C. (Buddy) Knight III and Linda of Brunswick Ga.; and several nieces and nephews.
    “Thanks to my special friends, Jeanne Thompson, Teresa Thomason Sanders, Joyce Lovett, Anne Moore, Helen Winstead, Patty Morris, Pam Shuman and Roxie Smith.”
    The funeral will be held at First Baptist Church Statesboro on Sunday at 2 p.m. with Dr. John Waters officiating.
    The family will receive visitors one hour prior to the service.
    Interment will follow in Langston Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery.
    Pallbearers will be Jon Jones, Glen Shuman, Tim Thompson, Allen Waters, Garry Morris, Dale Braddy.
    Honorary pallbearers will be the Harvester Sunday School Class of First Baptist Church, Statesboro, Ga.
    The family requests that memorial contributions be made to Ogeechee Area Hospice, P.O. Box 531, Statesboro, GA 30459; or to First Baptist Church of Statesboro, 108 North Main Street, Statesboro, GA 30458.
