STATESBORO, Ga. -- Mrs. Peggy Jo Gerrald DeLoach, age 79, died at the Ogeechee Area Hospice inpatient facility.
    The Bulloch County native was a Statesboro High School graduate. She worked for Badische Yarn Company for over 25 years in administration. Mrs. Peggy was a Mary Kay consultant for over 20 years and also worked with Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home and Bulloch Memorial Gardens.
    She loved gospel music, singing in the church choir and spending time with her family and friends. She was a member of the Statesboro Primitive Baptist Church for over 20 years and a member of the Mina Franklin Circle.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, Arden DeLoach; and her parents, Frank Olin and Edel Kitchings Gerrald; brothers, Derrell Gerrald and the Rev. Inman Gerrald; sisters, Frances Gerrald Smith and Mamie Sue Gerrald Burroughs; sisters-in-law, Telmalee Gerrald and Myrtis Gerrald; brothers-in-law, Waldo (Shorty) Smith, Remer Lanier and Bobby Phillips.
    Surviving are three sons and a daughter, Tony Wayne Oglesby of Statesboro, Pattianne Hunt of Sylvania, Clint (Charlotte) Oglesby of Sylvania, Keith (Amanda) Oglesby of Sylvania; seven grandchildren, Ashley Beth Mullis, Aaron Hunt, Casey Hunt, Hunter Oglesby, Dawson Oglesby, Mason Oglesby, Hannah Ray Oglesby; five great-grandchildren, Wyatt Hunt, Bailee Hunt, Trip Mullis, Charley Kate Mullis and Avery Beth Mullis; sisters, Venie Lanier of Savannah and Eloise Phillips; a brother-in-law, C.W. Billy Burroughs. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
    A visitation will be held on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. at Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home.
    The funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home with the Rev. Dan Joyner and Pastor Thomas Hendrix officiating.
    Pallbearers will be Aaron Hunt, Hunter Oglesby, Dawson Oglesby, Mason Oglesby, James Bragg and David Oliver.
    Honorary pallbearers will be the members of the Mina Franklin Circle.
    Interment will be in Bulloch Memorial Gardens.
    The family requests that memorial contributions be made to Ogeechee Area Hospice, P.O. Box 531, Statesboro, GA 30459.
