STATESBORO, Ga. -- Mrs. Maria Frances Bigansky Wyatt, age 57, died on Tuesday, September 18, 2018, at her residence.
    The New York, N.Y., native worked with Mayor Ed Koch’s office for many years before obtaining her paralegal degree. She moved to Statesboro in 2008 and worked for Lehman Franklin for five years and was working with Josh Tucker as a paralegal and office manager for the last five years.
    She was preceded in death by her brothers, Richie Bigansky, Jack Bigansky; and her father, John Bigansky.
    Surviving are her husband of 12 years, Robert Wyatt of Statesboro; her daughter, Katie Wyatt of Statesboro; her mother, Marie Sisto Bigansky; two brother, Bobby (Bernadette) Bigansky of Long Island, N.Y.; and Dennis Bigansky of Saratoga, N.Y. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
    A visitation will be held on Thursday from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home.
    The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, 201 South Main Street Suite A, Statesboro, GA 30458.
