Mrs. Brenda Stewart Keith
Mrs. Brenda Stewart Keith, 68, of Omega, passed away on Sunday, September 30, 2018, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center in Moultrie.
    The funeral service will be held Wednesday, October 3rd, at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Albritton Funeral Directors with the Rev. Walter Powell officiating. Interment to follow in Oakridge Cemetery.
    The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. before the service at the funeral home on Wednesday, October 3rd.
    Jeffrey Sauls, Chris Ponder, Ryan Rice, Todd Rice, Jamie Patrick and Jimmy Grubbs will serve as pallbearers.
    Mrs. Keith was born October 9, 1949, in Bulloch County to the late Inman Stewart and Rita Henley Evans. She was married to David Keith of Omega for 51 years.
    Mrs. Keith was a member of Omega Baptist Church. She was a retired teacher for 34 years with the Tift County Board of Education.
    She loved her family, especially her grandchildren.
    Mrs. Keith enjoyed cooking, feeding people and working in her yards, especially with cut flowers. She was an avid student of history.
    In addition to her husband, she is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Kelly and Chad Scarbor of Omega; one son and daughter-in-law, Stewart and Paige Keith of Omega; five grandchildren, Keith Scarbor, Katie Keith, Lilyanne Scarbor, Wyatt Keith and Lana Scarbor; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Charlotte and Clint Land of Statesboro, Cheryl and Eddie Saxon of Statesboro, Linda and Steven Oglesby of Statesboro; two brothers, David Stewart and Dennis Stewart, both of Statesboro; her stepmother, Pat Stewart of Portal, Georgia; several nieces and nephews.
    Flowers accepted or donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 1290, Tifton, GA 31793.
    Albritton Funeral Directors is in charge of the arrangements.
