PORTAL, Ga. -- Mr. Roy E. Woods, age 67, died Wednesday, January 29, 2019, at East Georgia Regional Medical Center after a brief illness.
The Bulloch County native was an auto/lawnmower mechanic and served in the Navy.
Mr. Woods is preceded in death by his father, Doy Edward Woods; and two brothers, Johnny Ray Woods and Donald Wayne Woods.
Surviving are his mother, Mary Lou Woods; four brothers, Richard Woods, Ronald Woods, Billy Woods and Chris Woods; two sisters, Patsy Suggs and Rita Bryant; several nieces and nephews.
The graveside service will be held Saturday, February 2, 2019, in Poplar Springs Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. George Archer Jr. officiating.
Visitation will be Friday, February 1, from 4 until 6 p.m. at Hodges-Moore Funeral Home.
Hodges-Moore Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
