PORTAL, Ga./REIDSVILLE, Ga. -- Mr. Linton Ray Bryant, age 61, died on Wednesday, September 19, 2018, in Reidsville, Georgia, under the care of Community Hospice.
    Mr. Bryant was born in Statesboro, Ga., on August 10th, 1957, to Mr. Linton and Pauline Flakes Bryant. He worked in construction for many years, most recently as a carpenter for Bulldog Office Contractor.
    He had been a resident of Portal, Georgia.
    He is survived by his two sons and a daughter, Christopher Ray Bryant of Millen, Ga.; Joseph Aaron Bryant of Florida and Michelle Ann Bryant of Iowa; their mother, Mary Eunice Bryant of Reidsville; grandchildren, Chad Lamar Bryant, Bonnie Michelle Olliff, Jonathan Lamar Olliff, Benjamin Michael Lanier, Johnny Ray Lanier and Harley Bryant; a great-granddaughter, Alliyah Michelle Lester; and a sister, Ermma Jean Dixon.
    The family will receive visitors on Friday from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. at Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home in Statesboro.
    Following visitation, a graveside service and burial will be held at 11:30 a.m. in Paynes Chapel Church Cemetery.
