STATESBORO, Ga. -- Mr. Larry Mincey, age 62, passed on Tuesday, January 29, 2019, at the East Georgia Regional Medical Center. He was a Bulloch County native and was a former employee of Walter Johnson Welding Company.
He is survived by his children, Larry Mincey Jr., Statesboro, Ga.; James Mincey, Virginia; Jeremy Mincey and Dwayne (Princess) McCullough, both of Statesboro, Ga.; Katherine (Ben) Jackson and Tara McCullough, Statesboro, Ga.; his mother, Willie Powell, Statesboro, Ga.; a brother, Edward (Deborah) Powell, Statesboro, Ga.; nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, one niece, one nephew, a host of other relatives and friends.
The funeral service for Mr. Larry Mincey will be held 3 p.m. Saturday, February 2, 2019, in the Ben Samuel Hill Memorial Chapel of Hill’s Mortuary, Inc. with Elder Donald Chavers Jr. officiating. Burial will be held in the St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, Register, Georgia.
Final rites have been entrusted to Hill’s Mortuary, Inc.
