ELLABELL, Ga. -- Mr. Joseph Byron Waters, age 55, died on Saturday, June 2, 2018, at his residence. The Savannah, Ga., native was a 1980 graduate of Windsor Forest High School. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. Following his service, he graduated from Savannah Technical College with an engineering degree. He worked with Thomas Hutton Engineering for over 10 years, Lockwood Green Engineering and Collins Engineering.
    Surviving are his siblings, Leslie (Robbie) Walker of Guyton, Ga.; Steve (Terri) Waters of Pt. Orange, Fla.; Donna Razuri of Pooler, Ga.; Chris (Christy) Waters of Brooklet, Ga.; Fran Strickland of Savannah, Ga.; and Elizabeth (Matt) Holbrook of Statesboro, Ga. Several nieces and nephews survive as well as his Boston terrier, Bean.
    A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
    The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the American Diabetes Association, 5105 Paulsen Street, Suite 236, Savannah, GA 31405.
