Mr. Herschel Lee Deloach, age 86, of St. Petersburg, Fla., passed away on January 26, 2019.
    He was an Evans County native, being raised in Bryan County, but resided in St. Petersburg, Fla., for many years.
    He was a veteran of the United States Army. He was a former truck driver and co-owner of H&S Trucking.
    He was a member of the United Community Church of St. Petersburg, Fla.
    Herschel was known for being a man of God, his love for people and a remarkable sense of humor.
    He is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Mrs. Shirley Deloach of St. Petersburg, Fla.; his loving children, Herschel Eugene (Earlene) Deloach, Herbert A. Deloach, Steven A. (Stephanie) Heath, LaDawna Lawrence and Deanne S. Heath; 11 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
    Family and friends' visitation will be held Friday, February 1, 2019, from 6-8 p.m. in the chapel of Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Pembroke Chapel.
    The homegoing celebration for Mr. Herschel Deloach will be held Saturday, February 2, 2019, at 1 p.m. at the Jerusalem Baptist Church, 244 Jerusalem Church Road, Pembroke, GA, with the Rev. Dr. Wayne E. Wilson officiating and the Rev. Victor Brewton, pastor. Interment will be held in the Beautiful Zion Church Cemetery, Pembroke, GA, with full military honors.
