Mr. Gary Paul Clifton, 74, died Tuesday, June 26, 2018, at home after an extended illness.
He was born in Bulloch County, but had lived in Jenkins County most of his life. He was a retired dairy farmer.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Mary Wiggins Clifton.
Visitation will be Friday from 9:30 a.m. until the funeral service at 11 a.m. at Crowe-Fields Funeral Home with the Rev. Jeremy Lindsey officiating. Burial will follow in the Millen Cemetery.
Survivors include his daughter, Jennifer Lynn Clifton of El Paso, Texas; two sons, Gary Lee Clifton and Edward Lane Clifton of Millen; a sister, Linda C. Eason (Paul) of Vidalia; his ex-wife, Barbara L. Clifton of Millen; two nephews and several nieces and nephews and cousins.
Active and honorary pallbearers will be John Cleve Newton, John Roy Clifton, Dudley Clifton, John Crockett, Jamie Newton, Rodney Newton, Joey McCullough, Mike Chance, Anthony Cowart and James Cowart.
