Deacon Harold Deloach
Deacon Harold Deloach, age 88, of Register, Ga., passed peacefully on Sunday morning at Ogeechee Area Hospice inpatient facility after an extended illness.
    He was a member of the Statesboro Masonic District #18. He served as a former member of the City of Council for Register, Ga., for many years. He was a Bulloch County native and a member of the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church of Register, Ga., where he served as chairman of the Deacon Board.
    He was the owner & operator of Deloach Timber Harvester Inc., until his retirement
    He was a veteran of the United States Army, having served in the Korean War.
    He enjoyed bowling and was a member of the Bulloch County Bowling Association.
    He is survived by his loving wife, Mrs. LaBlanche Deloach of Register, Ga.; his loving children, Ms. Gwendolyn Frink and Ms. Pascha Washington, both of Waycross, Ga.; Ms. Cynthia Fortenbery of Atlanta, Ga.; and Mrs. Desianne (Willie) Coney of Register, Ga.; his loving sisters, Mrs. Rosie Grover of Tampa, Fla.; Mrs. Teresa (the Rev. Willie) Torrence of Portal, Ga.; Mrs. Alma Ruth Rickerson of St. Petersburg, Fla.; Mrs. Alberta (Larry) Rawls and Ms. Shirley Deloach, both of Statesboro, Ga.; his loving brothers, Mr. Samuel (Ruth) Deloach of Valdosta, Ga.; and Mr. Frank (Kaye) Deloach of Warner Robbins, Ga.; and a host of other relatives and friends.
    Viewing will be held Friday, January 25, 2019, from 2-7 p.m. at the Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Chapel.
    The homegoing service for Deacon Harold Deloach will be Saturday, January 26, 2019, at 1 p.m. at the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, 6790 Kennedy Bridge Road, Register, GA, with the Rev. Donald Chavers presiding and Pastor Gregory Thomas as eulogist. Interment will be held in the church cemetery, with full military honors.
    Deacon Harold Deloach will lie in state from noon until the funeral hour. There will be no viewing after the eulogy.
