A Sylvania woman was killed Saturday night in a hit-and-run crash. According to reports from Georgia State Patrol Post 21 in Screven County, Carli Drew Ridings, 23, of Dry Branch Road in Sylvania, was walking east across Highway 301 just south of North Main Street in Sylvania when she was struck by an unknown driver around 10:30 p.m. Reports stated Ridings was thrown after the impact as she was struck on her right side as she walked in the left northbound lane. She was wearing dark clothing, and the weather was misting rain, reports stated.
