A woman who reportedly attacked a child with a phone charger cord is in jail with no bond, according to Bulloch County Sheriff Noel Brown. Nikita Lashawn Tolbert, 21, of Bird Road, is charged with first-degree cruelty to children, and further charges are possible, he said. Bulloch County sheriff’s Investigator Prethenia Cone was called to a local elementary school, where the 6-year-old female victim was found with “marks and bruises” on her buttocks and lower legs.
