A Statesboro Police officer with a keen eye stopped a man on a bike Tuesday night, and ended up arresting him on entering auto charges. Quajerreal Damonte Lipsey, 18, Mikell Street, was identified by a witness as the man seen taking a purse from a car at Waffle House on South Main Street, said Statesboro Police Major Scott Brunson. Around 8:50 p.m. Tuesday, Officer Matthew Brinson stopped Lipsey as he rode his bicycle on South Main Street near Brannen Street.
