Bulloch County sheriff’s deputies and Georgia State Patrol troopers issued several citations and warnings Tuesday morning during a “concentrated traffic safety patrol,” said Bulloch County Sheriff Noel Brown.

The patrol focused on distracted driving as well as other traffic violations.

Sheriff’s deputies issued 16 citations and 12 warnings for various traffic violations and arrested three people, he said. One driver was charged with driving with a suspended license, another was arrested on an outstanding probation warrant, and a passenger was arrested on an outstanding bench warrant.

Georgia State Patrol Post 45 Troopers issued two citations and seven warnings for traffic violations, he said.

The concentrated traffic safety patrols “not only make the roads safer for all of us but also make  Bulloch County as a whole safer,” he said.
