If you plan to attend the 41st annual meeting of the Bulloch County Historical Society, you need to purchase your tickets by Wednesday.
Ticketholders will enjoy a delicious meal, great entertainment and a silent auction.
The meeting is set for Monday, June 22, at 6 p.m. at Georgia Southern University's Nessmith-Lane Conference Center, said Joe McGlamery, Bulloch County Historical Society's president.
The event is open to the public, and tickets must be purchased by noon on Wednesday, he said. They are $25 a person and are available at the front desk of the Statesboro Herald.
The program will be a presentation of "The Ol' Scarecrow Statesboro Medicine Show," which was recognized in 2014 by the Georgia Historical Society, McGlamery said.
A meal will be served, preceded by hors d'oeuvres and fruit punch. A cash bar with beer and wine also will be available.
