A third suspect in a shooting at Metter’s Club 46 in January is wanted on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.Metter Police Chief Dennis Nelson said James Lyndell Williams 20, Herschel Drive, Metter, is considered “armed and dangerous” and hopes citizens will call in with information on his whereabouts.Williams is suspected to be involved in the shooting of a 27-year-old male at the Ga. 46 nightclub near Portal-Metter Highway in January.Already arrested in the incident are Brand Elliott Grant, 34, Country Club Road, Statesboro and Joe Lester Denson Jr., 33, Washington Street, Metter, both also charged with aggravated assault. An arrest warrant was issued for Williams and police suspect he is still in the area of Candler and/or Bulloch County, Nelson said. “Mr. Williams should be considered as armed and dangerous and we will treat him that way,” he said.
