A suspicious device found during a traffic stop resulted in a portion of Highway 80 West being closed Tuesday afternoon. Investigators were still inspecting the unidentified device Tuesday evening and had taken one person into custody, but no information was available regarding possible charges, said Bulloch County Sheriff Noel Brown. Bulloch County sheriff’s Chief Deputy Bill Black said the device was not an explosive and was determined not to be a danger to the public.
