Storms leave trail of damage in north Bulloch
Trees down, mobile homes damaged; new line of storms approach area
storm

A line of thunderstorms and a possible tornado left trees downed and mobile homes damaged in the north end of Bulloch County Saturday night. Downed trees and power lines were also reported on Rocky Ford Road, and a house fire on Dannie Cartee Road may have been weather-related. A reporter on the scene said three people were treated at the scene of the house fire. Earlier reports that they were transported for medical care were incorrect.

According to Herald reporter Holli Deal Bragg, who was on the scene, and Bulloch County Emergency Manager Ted Wynn, there were trees down around Pleasant Hill Road just outside of Bulloch County and on Old Deal Road inside the county. The area was under a tornado warning at the time of the storms.

She also reported that there was damage, including total destruction of a mobile home, on Lonnie Burke Road near Highway 25.
