Police arrested a man Wednesday they said snatched wires out of an air conditioner, then plugged the bare wires into a wall socket in order to light a cigarette. Tyler Christian Collins, 20, of West Mica Court, was also wanted on outstanding warrants for other crimes, according to Statesboro police reports. Officers responded around 9 p.m. to John's Place, an addiction and counseling facility on West Altman Street.Collins was taken to the Bulloch County Jail on charges of criminal trespass and wanted person.
