A 20-year-old man was arrested Saturday on charges of statutory rape and child molestation, according to a Statesboro police incident report.

Anda Deck Farley Jr., 20, of Wildwood Villas, was charged after police investigated and found evidence he engaged in a sexual relationship with a 13-year-old girl, police said.

Officers responded around 4 p.m. Saturday to Wildwood Circle and placed Farley under arrest, a report states. Statesboro Police Cpl. Justin Samples said no further details will be released at the time, as the case remains under investigation. The incident report states that the two know each other, and the alleged incident took place at an undisclosed residence between 8 a.m. Friday and 1 p.m. Saturday.

Farley was taken to the Bulloch County Jail, where he remains without bond, according to jail records.
