This is for the trash that threw out ... the ... gray cooler ... and the bag of trash on J.A. Hart Road over the weekend. If it is not removed ... by Monday mornin', I will personally go get it myself and take it to the sheriff's office and let him rummage through ... and find out who it belongs to ... and bring the trash back to you, trash.

There are a lot of cars driving around Statesboro with illegal headlights. ... Not the extra-bright white halogen lights that many new cars have ... but all of the vehicles with bright ... bright blue headlights. These are illegal because they don't come from the factory. ... I'm just wonderin' why the police don't do something about them. They know they're not legal.

Pro football players think the owners are makin' too much money. ... When we realize how much the owners invest at no guarantee of a profit, would the players agree to pay for the owners' loss?

The litter on the roads around Statesboro is unacceptable. ... I don't understand why people have to litter ... with all the trash and recycling centers in this county. ... Keep your trash in your cars in bags and throw it in your trash cans at home. ... Pickup truck drivers need to quit throwing trash in the back of your trucks ... so it can blow out all over the county. The police need to crack down on littering and ... loads that are unsecured.

Will those Georgia Southern professors quit writing letters to the Herald asking me to pay for illegal aliens to go to college? ... I am a descendant of immigrants, but they came here legally. ... There are plenty of U.S. citizens who need our money to get a college education ... and I'm happy to help them.

Could someone please tell me if there is a code enforcement office in Statesboro? And if there is, exactly what is their responsibility? ... If there is, they need to crack down on some of the really ugly properties in town. ... Maybe some citations and fines would get something done. Or maybe the city council ... could act on something other than liquor licenses.
