Statesboro police have two people in custody after shots were fired at a Lanier Drive location.

Around 12:30 p.m. Thursday, officers were dispatched to Eagle Court Condominiums, where witnesses reported gunshots were fired. Responding officers were advised by Bulloch County 911 operators that a suspect, a black man with no hair and wearing a white tank top and shorts, was leaving in a white car. A man was chasing him on foot, according to radio reports.

Around 4 p.m., Statesboro police Cpl. Justin Samples said a man and a woman were in custody and being booked into the Bulloch County Jail as a result of the investigation. Suspects' information was not immediately available Thursday evening.

No injuries were reported in the incident.
