The Bulloch County Sheriff’s Foundation, a nonprofit organization, is selling slow-roasted Boston butts to help fund various community programs.
Tickets are $30 and butts will be ready for pick up at the Scout Hut located at 209 East Main Street in Statesboro on Friday, March 30, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., as well as on Saturday, March 3, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The sale benefits programs such as Safe Kids Bulloch, Neighborhood Watch, Scholarships for Kids, Project Lifesaver, Child ID and more, according to the Bulloch County Sheriff’s Foundation Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/

Tickets are available at William James Middle School, Langston Chapel Middle School, The Country Store, Portal Elementary School, Portal Middle High School, Bulloch County Sheriff's Office and Bulloch Academy.
Those who do not wish to buy a Boston butt or who will not be able to pick them up, yet still wish to donate, may do so by clicking the “donate now” button on the Facebook page.
Checks should be made payable to Bulloch County Sheriff's Foundation.
The Foundation is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization providing support for the Sheriff’s Office community programs.
