Three men attacked a man in his own home Wednesday, beating him and stealing a variety of goods including guns before fleeing with a fourth man, said Bulloch County Sheriff Lynn Anderson.
Jeramie Thomas Leslie, 22, Harmony Church Road, Brooklet; Kenneth Charles Foy, 19, Ennis School Road, Sylvania; Terel Jamar Parrish, 21, Chestnut Street, Sylvania and Patrick Ivey Mathis, 20, Harvey Drive, Statesboro, were all charged in the incident, Anderson said.
Around 9 a.m. Wednesday three of the suspects went to a Joe Robert Tillman Road residence and knocked on the door. When the victim opened the door, the three attacked him, he said.
"The victim reports the suspects beat him, then stole several different items as well as several firearms from him," he said.
The victim identified the fourth suspect, "who brought the other three to his house," he said.
Sheriff's deputies investigated the incident and after identifying the offenders, located them and placed them under arrest, Anderson said.
All four are charged with robbery, burglary, false imprisonment, possession of tools for the commission of a crime, theft by taking firearm, financial transaction card theft and battery, and are being held in the Bulloch County Jail without bond, he said.
