A man who failed to register as a sex offender was taken into custody Thursday in Chatham County, the Bulloch County Sheriff's office said. The Bulloch County Sheriff's Office sent an alert Wednesday asking for the public's help in finding a man who failed to register as a sex offender. Christopher Allen Hadel, 25, had last seen in the area of Georgia Highway 119 near Effingham County.
