Statesboro citizens interested in knowing all about what police do and how they work are invited to apply for the second session of the Citizen’s Police Academy, which begins Sept. 28. The deadline for submitting applications is Aug. 30, and applications may be picked up at the Statesboro Police Department from Capt. Scott Brunson or Lt. Kaleb Moore. The first session of the Citizen’s Police Academy was a great success, said Statesboro Police Commander J.R. Holloway.
